Vintage WH Grindley White Satin Set – Salad Bowl & Medium Sized Jug (500ml)

Although this lovely ceramic bowl was manufactured by Grindley & Co Ltd as a vegetable tureen and decorated in the Tudor Star pattern as part of the Satin White Series, its lack of a lid makes it perfectly suited for a salad / dessert serving bowl. Its modernist appearance gives it the ability to be utilised in most table settings. The bowl is decorated in this pattern below the rim along with a lovely gold trim and has a pair of handles extended from the rim. The jug has the pattern displayed on the body with gold trimming along the rim.

The bowl is stamped underneath Satin White, Grindley & Co Ltd, England 4-3. The jug is stamped underneath Satin White WH Grindley & Co Ltd England 1-4.

The bowl is in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or damages. The jug is also in perfect condition with no chips, cracks or damages.
