Leonard Bernardaud began manufacturing in Limoges in 1863 and produced giftware, tableware etc. The firm has remained in family control. This item is a vintage squared shape fine porcelain trinket box with a gently domed lid. The sides and lid have been decorated in bright pink and green hand painted rose patterns with a purple bow tied around the stems on the lid.
Stamped underneath: Barnardaud, Limoges, France.
The trinket box and lid are in very good condition.
