Vintage 1940’s J&G Meakin Sky Blue Dinner Plate – Celeste Pattern
Manufactured by J&G Meakin as part of the Glamour series during the 1940’s this dinner plate is beautifully decorated in the Meakin “Celeste” range with sky blue colour highlighted by the presence of a scalloped rim with visible fluted surface along the verge.
This pattern design by J&G Meakin has long since been discontinued and is regarded today as a rare design.
The plate is stamped underneath Glamour Sol J&G Meakin England Celeste.
The plate is in very good condition with no damages noted.
