A rare hand painted floral patterned ceramic salad bowl manufactured by Wade Heath, Burslem between 1938-1950. The well is decorated with the colourful floral pattern while the rim has light blue and grey swag.
Wade ceramics was established in Burslem in 1867. The last Wade factory in Burslem was closed permanently in 2010 and today Wade operates from Etruria, Stoke-on-Trent.
The bowl is stamped underneath Wade Heath England A.
The bowl has age related crazing and discolouration, however no chips or cracks and is in good usable condition..
Height of rim: 7 cm, Diameter of base: 11.2 cm, Diameter of rim: 23 cm
