Vintage 1936-1966 Fine Porcelain Bell China Saucer
A vintage 1936 – 1966 fine porcelain saucer decorated in Bell China’s 2544 pattern depicting a lady with a parasol in a colourful garden setting.
Bell China dates back to 1887 when the firm was established as J. Shore & Co. It became Shore, Coggins & Holt in 1905 and Shore & Coggins Ltd. in 1910. In 1918 the firm was purchased by Thomas Wild & Sons. The Wild Group introduced the Bell China trade name as well as Queen Anne and Princess Anne. The group closed the Shore & Coggins subsidiary in 1966.
The saucer is stamped underneath Fine Bone Bell China Made in England.
The saucer is in very good condition with no damages noted.
