Small Vintage Black & Gold Porcelain Jug – Old Foley

This firm of general domestic potters, Old Foley, Longton, was founded by James Aloysius Kent (born 1864 died 1953) with five workmen from the firm of Barker & Kent (including Arnold Bennett's brother Septimus Bennett, modeller) in 1897. This is a gorgeous little glossy black Old Foley jug with scalloped rim and gold trim on the rim.

The jug is stamped in gold underneath Old Foley James Kent Ltd Staffordshire Made in England.

This little jug is in very good vintage condition with no damages noted.

Height of rim: 6.5 cm, Diameter of base: 2.8 cm, Spout to handle: 6.5 cm
