Rare Patterned Vintage (1950-1964) Royal Vale Fine Porcelain Tea Trio (Cup, Saucer & Tea Plate) – Pattern 7858 (Summer Flowers)

A rare pattern designed and released by Royal Vale during 1950 but later discontinued. The pattern was simply numbered 7858 and produced in limited quantities before its discontinuation. It was often referred to by collectors as the summer flowers pattern. The pattern was later also used on ware produced by Ridgway, Royal Doulton and Royal Albert since the 1970’s after Royal Albert also became part of the Doulton Group.

The trio consists of the tea cup, saucer and matching tea plate with each item designed in a fluted swirl motif together with mildly scalloped rims, and all decorated in Royal Vale’s pattern 7858 which displays a blush pink series of small roses together with purple violets across the crisp white porcelain surface. Each item has also been adorned with gold trim along the rims.

Each item is stamped underneath Bone China Royal Vale Made in England.

The trio is in very good condition with no damages noted.
