This item is a vintage 1930’s silver plated sugar bowl manufactured by Stanley & Aylward Ltd. under the Essay tradename.
The sugar bowl stands on a mildly graduated trumpet shaped stand and has been designed with fluted sides and two Victorian styled ornate scroll handles attached.
The sugar bowl is stamped Essay Canada EP On Copper Lead Mounts Made in Canada 352.
The item will require some polishing, but is in very good condition.
Height of handles: 8 cm, Height of rim: 7.4 cm, Diameter of base: 5.5 cm, Diameter of rim: 7.6 cm, Handle to handle: 13.5 cm
