1950’s Vintage Marlborough Shape Grindley Porcelain Large Water/Juice Jug – Rare Kingfisher Pattern
Designed and released under the Royal Petal range with Marlborough shape, a large porcelain water or juice jug manufactured by Grindley between 1940 and 1959 when this particular pattern was discontinued. The jug has fluted sides and a mildly scalloped rim and is decorated with colourful Kingfisher birds and floral patterning. The jug also stands on a four-footed pedestal base. This is a rare pattern by Grindley which is seldom encountered.
The item is stamped underneath Marlborough Royal Petal Grindley England.
The jug is in very good condition and there are no damages noted.
