Designed and released under the Royal Petal range with Marlborough shape, a porcelain six cup tea pot manufactured by Grindley between 1940 and 1959 when this particular pattern was discontinued. The tea pot has fluted sides and is decorated with colourful Kingfisher birds and floral patterning. The tea pot also stands on a four-footed pedestal base and has a beautiful rose design lid finial. This is a rare pattern by Grindley which is seldom encountered.
