




1940’s-1950’s Machine Tooled Silver Plated Emu Brand Cigarette Case
The cigarette case has a brass tone within, due to age related plate loss and use. It also has a pair of springs attached side by side on the inside underneath which the cigarettes would be placed. The lid is hinged and has a perfectly functional frontal clip.
The outer surface has been machine tooled in very tiny diamond patterns. A small square on the lid of the case has been personalised with an engraving: BMJ.
Items like these have developed into collectables during the 20th – 21st centuries.
The case is stamped within EPNS Emu Brand Made in England.
The case has age related wear especially on the inside and it also has a few tiny dents, but functions perfectly. The case requires some polishing.
