



1935-1950 Vintage Johnson Bros Windsor Ware Porcelain Open Sugar Bowl – Garden Bouquet Pattern
The Garden/Rose Bouquet pattern was designed and manufactured by Johnson Brothers between 1935 and 1950 under their Windsor Ware range. It appears that this particular design was created for the USA market. The item is designed with an embossed rope edge underneath the rim resulting in a scalloped effect. The item is decorated in the Johnson Bros Garden Bouquet floral pattern with a large rose being the dominant flower on a band of flowers and leaves.
Johnson Bros began manufacturing in Hanley in 1883 and in 1968 joined the Wedgwood Group along with several other manufacturers. In 2004 Johnson Bros manufacturing was transferred out of England.
The item is an open demitasse sugar bowl.
The item is impressed underneath England.
The sugar bowl is in good condition with no chips or cracks visible.
