1930’s Vintage Johnson Bros Victorian Range Porcelain Tea Trio - Burgandy & Gold Gilt

In good condition, a porcelain tea trio manufactured by Johnson Bros during the 1930’s, which consists of the tea cup, saucer and matching tea plate, all decorated in pattern JB47, a Regal design which displays a burgundy band decorating the rim, together with gold trim and gold gilt swag patterning. The pattern was released by Johnson Bros in blue as JB83 as well as burgundy as JB47, both considered rare due to their limited production before being discontinued. The tea cup has also been decorated with gold trim on the deco design handle, while all three items have a gold trim band encircling the centre on the cream colour background.

The tea plate and saucer are stamped underneath Victorian, Johnson Bros, Made in England. The tea cup is impressed England BY.

The tea cup has a manufacturing stain/mark on the inside as well as a very tiny chip on the inside of the rim (please see pictures), aside from this the items are in very good condition with no other visible damages.
