1900’s Antique Set Of Regis Plate Silver Plated Open Salt Pot & Mustard Pot With A Vintage Stainless Steel Mustard Spoon

The set consists of an antique silver plated open salt pot with a matching mustard pot, both manufactured by William Suckling in Birmingham during the very early 1900’s. Both pots are fitted with three paw feet each and designed with scalloped rims, while the mustard pot has a scroll handle and hinged and domed lid with empirical finial.

The mustard pot comes with a “perfect stainless” handle stamped mustard spoon.

William Suckling founded the firm in Birmingham in 1896 using the trade names Regis Plate, Kingsway Plate, Burmese and Platine Metal. Later William’s son joined the firm and its name changed to William Suckling & Son. After becoming an Ltd. the name changed again to Suckling Ltd. The firm closed permanently in 1965.

Each of the pots are stamped underneath Made in England Regis Plate Reg EPNS and the spoon is stamped Perfect Stainless..

The items require a polishing, aside from which it is in very good second hand condition.
